The students really seem to enjoy project-based learning, so I am more than happy to oblige them.
This week, we began to study the life and times of George Washington. Each class was split into several small groups and chose a stage in GW's life to research. They must demonstrate their learning by creating a graphic novel on the stage they chose. When that is completed, all the groups will combine their sections together into one big graphic novel.
The students from each group will then role-play their section for the other groups to view. This way all the groups are introduced to the entirety of George Washington's life.
